Question 92 maxima missin?

my brother has a 92 maxima gxe sohc automatic,that idels rough,we've done a complete tune up & it has a small exhaust leak,
when we give it gas while driving it runs fine,but just has a rough idel,like missin or somthing,if you guys have any info please help,he's freaking out.

i dont think it will help completely, but check the positive battery terminal to see if there is corrosion...most likely if there is then there might be corrosin in the wire itself...i just had to replace mine so i could install the subs i'm puttin in...when i cut the wire there was nothing but corrosion, so i took a wire brush and just went all ova da wire to make it as close to copper as possible...and it made it idle better, i got better throttle response, and my speakers put out more sound to0...lol

It is exactly the problem on my 92 SE manual shift.

I replaced the O2 sensor and this cleared the problem up.

Apparantly the computer cannot detect a faulty O2 sensor.
