TL type S engine swap

1-will the TL types S engine fit in my 99 accord v6 coupe?
2-if it does would i need to use the TL's tranny too?
3-will i need to change my gauges....
4-And a question for Honda99....did ur tranny die at 53k?

1. Yes, it will fit.

2. Depends on if you want to get stand along ECU to control TL (J32A2) engine and keep stock ECU to control accord's tranny. If you decide on TL tranny then you'll need TL ECU and do ton of wiring work.
You will need to do ton of wiring no matter which option you'll choose.

3. No

4. Excessive wear clutch plate for 2nd gear, rough shifting.

do u have any link showing or talking about an accord with a type S engine?...because i looked all over the internet and found no one that tried this engine swap...thanks

Search at www.v6p.net
there are people who have J32A2 engines in theirs accords, but i think they used 6sp manual transmission and not automatic.
