2000 Cherokee Power Window Problems

I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport and yesterday all the power windows stopped working except for the driver window. The window lock is not on and the fuse for the power windows is fine, does anyone have any ideas on what happened and how to fix it?

Re: 2000 Cherokee Power Window Problems

I just had the same problem with my 2000 jeep cherokee, it actually ended up being the battery. Apparently it was not drawing enough power to work the windows or something. I know it doesnt sound right but I replaced the battery and have not had the problem since.

I have what seems to be the same problem , Sometimes all windows would work one time then they all wouldn't work the next minute (except for the drivers side) I've narrowed the problem down to the power window lock switch itself. When I push the lock switch from side to side a little I see the little illuminated window lights come on in the other windows and they work for a second. I need to figure out how to get the plastic cover off around the driver side window controls to see if its a loose connection or if the whole switch is bad.
