fuel filter questions?

anyone knows whats gona happen if installed the wrong way instead of in my mecanick put out instead of out is in been driving 15 k and just replace by my other mecanic the right way this time. and how many miles b-4 you need to change is it 35k or 15 k I'm confuse.

ok... so the fuels been going through the filter the wrong way? i honestly dont know it would depend how your filter works, if there's a water separator it might not work... also if you suddenly go back the other way is it gonna push any dirt and crap it caught back out of the filter and into the engine now?
