Question For All Countach LP400 Owners
I am very interested to know if a Countach LP400 like the one in the 1st Cannonball Run movie actually does sound like that in real life, or were sound effects dubbed in just for that movie?
If it does sound like in real life, what exhaust system is used on it to make it produce that incredible noise? |

Re: Question For All Countach LP400 Owners
Yes it really does sound like that. The 12 cylinders help it achieve this tone and it does whail! Back when the movie came out, there was not really any aftermarket exhaust, so that was the stock exhaust. Now days there are "Tubi" exhaust systems that help gain a little power and open up the sound a bit as well. The 2nd Cannonball Run has great clips of the LP5000 in the begining and you can hear that baby sing too! http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...D%26ie%3DUTF-8
