...no more s-10 Is SSR good?

Ok Im sure you guys have seen the SSR... the replacement to the S10 ....... i think it has a lame motor while the outside looks good but could use work.

CHEVY just needs to simply make.... S-10 + steriods = BADD A$$ street truck at least a slightly built 350 omg and supercharger.....

Ummm...the SSR has never been, nor ever will be intended as an S-10 replacement. I think you're confusing the SSR with the Colorado?? SSR is a low production niche vehicle intended as a modern street rod. BTW, 2005 will see the LS-2 in the SSR, reportedly at around 385Hp. Not outrageous, but much better than the 300Hp 5.3 they have in them now. Me? I'm waiting on the new version of the Z06 Vette. LS7 engine, rumored to be close to 500Hp.

Re: ...no more s-10 Is SSR good?

Myself i can't wait to see the performance of the Z06 when it comes out...although i am kinda wondering why they strayed from the 16valve and went to the 24 valve...although it is probably the power/reliability/emissions but i would figure that the GM people designing the thing would be albe to come up with a way to get a 500hp normal smallblock past emissions and able to be a daily driver...oh well though....i won't complain to much when it comes out....

just thinking out loud
