6x9 Speakers on 93 Prelude Rear Shelf? Possible?
Hey,
I have a 1993 prelude, and as you know the rear isnt made for installing large speakers, i want to install 6x9 speakers at the rear, that would mean making the hole bigger, is this possible? Or would the speakers touch at the bottom? Thanks |

most speakers wont fit because the hole is to shallow. Youd probally have to make the whole bigger or possibly remove the plastic piece in there,(i think there is one). To make it easy I would reccomend Boston Acoustics fx-6H. The H means that its specifically made for honda and the speaker isn't so deep. They sound great 2 and hit great highs

Hey, I just got a 92 lude, and there is no way, I tried everything, I have 2 infinity 6x9s. It's just not possible. any 6x9 speaker will be too deep and it will hit the trunk relese bars. Don't bother trying, I am pretty mad because i have to buy all new speakers.
