Changing Rims and Tires 2x2 Tacoma
Greetings. I just purchased a used 97 Tacoma 2x2 LX as a second vehicle to haul. It's a little bland looking, and the 4x4 look so much dressier. I'm thinking about changing out the 14inch rims and tires with beefier looking ones. Anyone know how big I can go without rubbing? I'm thinking I need new shocks, so I can give it some lift I suppose. Please help with suggestions.

Gusto, I sent you an email but I'll post it here too. What was involved with the 3" lift and how much did it cost? Can you send the picture to my email? [email protected]. It didn't come out in the forum.

Hey man, you can get a Daystar 3" body lift for mid $200, then you just have to have it installed. Find shop that can do it or do it yourself, I'm sure they come with a how-to.
