I dont know what else to do and im on kind of tight budget so does anybody have an answer

is it common on tbirds with the 4.6l at around 85,000 miles for anything and everything to start going bad? Thats been my experiance and i curious to know if anybody else had alot of trouble

Re: power window not working

There are plastic bushings inside the motor. I believe that is what it sounds like to me. The replacements are only a couple of dollars.

Sounds like you need to be a little nicer to your bird... These things are like fine art. Treat them nicely, and they will repay you in the end.

Re: power window not working

some cars have replaceable masts on electric antennas..... not sure if ford is like that, probably be wise to inquire at dealership. I just bought a mast for a mazda, arent they owned by ford? Radioshack has a solderless antenna end that plugs into the radio.
Cruise control MAY not work with mil light on. temperature sensors are usually cheap and easy to get change. Dont remember where it is on the car but normally stocked by parts places.

Re: power window not working

Does your horn still work? This will help figure out what might be wrong with your cruise.

Re: power window not working

yeah my horn still works i probably has sumthin to do with the part of the wiring harness that burnt up, the taillights, nuetral switch, radio, and the clock didnt work. but the cruise wouldnt shut off so we had to run new power wires to everything cause we cant figure out where it burnt up, somebody told dad that there is a switch on the bottom of the steering column that might be bad i dont know, but it annoys me that i have a series of toggle switches to control my stuff. we cant find a wiring diagram anywhere so that we can trace the stuff to replace the part of the wire that burnt up
