Red face Need New Tread

I own a 2000 Accord EX Sedan and want to get a new set of high performance tires. I want to keep the original rims (for now) and will soon install Einbach Sport line springs and Koni Yellows. What are the widest and pest performing tire that you would recomend.

The 2000 Accord comes with 16" wheels if you have a V6 and 15" wheels if you have a 4cyl. So, which Accord do you have? It does make a difference because with the 16" wheels you can get better tires than the ones available for the 15" wheels on an Accord.
