Tamiya R33 Skyline GT-R

Hooah! I got my mitts on a Tamiya R33, soo happy!

Alright, time to get down to it, List of modifications I'm gonna throw at this beast include:
Mods:
Custom Rollcage (making tutorial for it too)
Side Opening Hood
Custom Motor
Custom Exhaust (full)
Beautiful Paint
Like No Other!

Oh, didnt really know which to catergorize it in, but on the subject of color, I was thinking the factory purple, or silver, unless someone can suggest a better color.

Update!: Rollcage 70% Complete!
Here's a picture.

The Rollcage and Strut Bar are all made from Solder.


Here's a shot of the hood, I was looking into other ways to mount it, but here's the side opening way.

I found a badass set of rims I had stashed in my wheel droor that look beautiful on the R33, post pics soon as my camera charges.

Rims

Finally my camera charged up, so here's the body sitting on the wheels at the desired ride height (maybe a bit lower in the rear).

Thanks to a WRX 1/24 for these rims.
