Whats your Favorite Position

I like to be up nice and close with arms and legs bent to get maximum leverage and maximum control over whats going on.
However if I have to go the distance then its nice to stretch out a bit and straighten my legs and arms.

Driving position maybe? If it's a long trip then I put the seat back so I can stretch, if I'm driving..."aggresively"(for lack of a better term) then I like to be a little closer so my knees and arms are slightly bent hands at 10 and 2 one foot on the gas and the other on the dead pedal, position changes slightly for shifts of course

When I'm cruising around town I am positioned farther back to let my legs strecth. (Bad knee) I usually have my left hand on the bottom of the steering wheel. But when I am driving aggressively or cornering for fun or something, I like to be closer so that my legs are bent slightly and my hands I keep at 9 and 3.

Talking At first, I was confused!

When I drive, I'm either in 1 of 2 modes: pursuit or cruise. Most of my driving is spent in cruise mode... Seat pushed almost all the way back and somewhat reclined. This position is good for 2 things: I'm more relaxed and the music is better balanced! In pursuit mode, the seat is much closer w/ the back more upright.

I like missionary & it's many variations...

Dammit Moppie, you've done it again!!! :o

I had "some" the other night (previous joke for those who remember)...

At any rate, I prefer to sit with my seat back almost entirely upright. Since I'm in the States, I drive with my Left hand on about 7 and my right hand on the gear shifter (I drive a standard). As for leg position, I like it so that when the clutch is all the way down, my leg is just short of fully extended.

Gee at least someone is getting "some"

I drive in a neutral position. Knees slightly bent with arms slightly bent. The seats in the GTR wrap around you so well it is hard to sit in any other position.

Gee razor, thats horrible, you must be soooo unconfortable... I guess you had better just give it away. Hey I know this guy here in the states who is gonna move to NZ, he could use a car... Oh, he likes skylines too :jump:

Any how, I drive with seat very upright, close up on the pedels...

I guess driving position would be more logical....but it never occured to me....at 6'5" the usuall driving position is seat hard back, neck craned forwards, knees straddling steering wheel...when will they start realising that not everybody is the standard build?

Um thats not good for the selectors in the gearbox.

My driving position depends on the car im in, its seems that varied, from "situp and beg" like the Mini and Nissan Navara, to half looking down your nose in the MGF and my del sol.

I just put it wherever its comfortable

You could get in trouble otherwise.

You guys are no damn fun!

Im a little on the short side so I tend to be close to the wheel whether I like it or not. Forunatly the civic is designed for short Japanese people so I have no trouble fitting into it.
I have to open the sunroof blind however for several 6ft plus friends to fit into the passanger seat.

oh, and Tangi, I havnt had any in ages. Im to lazy.

Really, thats surprising, Im 5'10" and im only about 3 clicks away from being right at the front of my seat runners, Ive had a 5'6" tall person drive it but if you were any shorter you wouldnt be able to, theres no way my sister can drive it, she can barely reach the pedals let alone push them all the way in
