dome light

I am replacing the headliner in my 1982 Buick. Have removed most of the trim but I am stuck on the dome light. Have removed the plastic cover but need to remove the unit, seems to be screwed in somehow, any suggestions or links? I have spent a long time trying to search out the solution to this problem and can't find any info.

Not sure but, most of them are like this: Under the cover there should be at least two metal prongs coming down from the ceiling. Around each prong there should be two circular metal washer-like things. Those pry off and it should just drop out after that. Let me know if that helped.
