1996 transmission
my 1996 ta is having problems. once i am in gear (6 speed manual by the way), if i get on it, even a little too much it slips out and the engine revs but it is like the clutch is in. it as done it in 2-6th gears, and prolly does in 1st i just havnt noticed, help me someone please. and if you know the damage to my wallet that would be great.

you have a clutch problem. you could take it and get it serviced for $20 at any fast change, or minekie (spelling), could be low on clutch fluid, but i would say its your clutch slipping.

your welcome. this could be a costly problem, but if your able to do things like this your self it will run around 150-$170. i recomend a centerforce clutch.

850 bucks is the damage, but that is an estimate, it will prolly be higher
