fuel injectors???

hey

i'm about to replace the wires and plugs in my 93 grand am.

what would cause hesitation and sputtering when i'm idling or at a stop light? the car seems to have all of its power when i hammer down.

would that maybe be fuel related(injectors)? i have a new fuel filter in it.

and when the car has sat for awhile and i engage drive, it surges from park to drive (small rev up)

Re: fuel injectors???

Try cleaning the idle air control motor. It will cause this type of problem. The injectors should be fine if they work well under acceleration.
