Buy your CA legal Skyline?
The Skyline is of course a noncomp that requires retrofitting and such to meet secretary of the treasury standards, which is why Motorex charges so much, they had to do all the testing so please don't bitch everyone is trying to make money and they blew a lot making sure these cars are up to standards.
However, if you could reasonably buy one (with financing) would you? How much is a reasonable price? How much would you pay per month? Would you prefer a J-spec (RHD) versus an american model (LHD), NOT A SKYLINE, THEY ARE ONLY RHD. I'm asking this because I'm building up my business, a california based company that imports directly to buyers (completing bonds, registration, and retrofitting) J-spec cars. I think you would do better with RHD Skylines. You would alienate the enthusiast crowd with a LHD. Just my 2 cents.

i wouldn't get one due to price hell 90K for a R34-GTR thats a used lambo or Aston Martin! A C5 Z06 and 40K in mods a mega busa and a pimp ass caddy so many other ways i rather spend my $$.
if you can get me a grey R32 GTR though maybe super sexy =) |

Skylines can be converted to LHD though but I did see one ER-34 in Japan that was LHD which was kind of weird.
