spun bearing once again
i posted ealier on saying that i had lost oil pressure and the car started to knock so my mechanics had me take the oil pan off and sure enough you could raddle a rod around to all hell. well we replaced the bearings that day got her back together started her up and about 15 minutes later we spun the damn bearing again. so im lost where to go from here because of a tight fiscal situation with school just starting and all. i have seen shortblocks on ebay for 1500-2500. but i could also just spend the money and have mine wholly rebuilt. although i am not sure if the block, rods, or crank are bad if one or if all. but it would cost a lot to have the block and the crank magnafluxed and then told they are no good...at a loss here. maybe if im rebuilding i should go all out!? damn well if anyone knows anyone or anything about this, where to get the parts let me know...
-thanks |
