i know that hondas are notorious for the rear quarter rusting isany one
else having this problem w/theres? Its not bad but it sux ass. i removed the rubber protector thing , sanded, primered/sand then painted hope it helps stop. any advice would help thanks Crazzysol |

The rear quater is welded to the frame. If the rust doesn't go away, you may have to cut out the rust and weld on some new metal and sand it flush with the rest of the panel and re-paint. Same thing some of the people on Team Del Sol's forums had to do to get rid of their rust.

No worries, bro. It's the whole part of the car that's on either side of the trunk. It's a fairly large piece of metal. The quarter panel is the large panel of metal above and around your rear wheels. All of it.

Oh OK, I plan on replacing pretty much all the panels on the car with ones from a sol I got for 450 that's in perfect condition cept the front which is totaled. Hiping I wouldn't have to do too much welding...

all hondas rust there.... if you do the body work it will be good for a year or two... but it will come back.... rust is inevitable
