Noise from front wheel well

There is a noise coming from my front wheel well. It sounds a lot like a flat tire, but that is definitely not the case. I ran over a pothole like 3 years ago, but as of late the sound has started to get louder. Took the car to a mechanic and they said nothing was wrong. I was hoping one of you guys would be able to help me find a solution before I take it back to the shop. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

well that is an issue... and yes there has to be something wrong, I would check the placement of the tire and the disk, look if anything is rubbing the wheel and the entire joint system could be bent, Don't trust people in the shop, if you do end up taking it to the shop go in while your car is in the air and watch them look at it, and ask one of the mechanics to go on a test drive with you! any questions just say

Thanx for the tip. I'm gonna try and see if I can get the problem resolved next week. The car is still under warranty so I might take it into the dealership if I don't notice anything out of the ordinary visually.

I same problem no one could find the noise but then i found that the transmission mount was bad cost $180.00 after i spent $700.00 on new struts but it did fix the noise so check trans. mount first.

Ya it could be a mount or strut.
