Update on Body Repair!!!

UPDATE:
hey guys...it just so happens that the body shop repairing my car is friends with my family so he is goin to hook me up. he said he can higher the estimate so i can buy myself some aftermarket body pieces. i know im goin to get the 99' JDM front fascia and a spoiler. i was thinking this spoiler, it is a 90-93 TT replica but i think it looks more sleek. tell me what you guys think?

its ok 1viadrift...you'll get your break someday. im thinkin since i dont have an aftermarket rear bumper i think the one on the yellow z would look the best now. not so dramatic. it might flow alot better too.

ill worry about sideskirts later. instead of paying $1200 on the JDM sideskirts i think i am going to go with the stillen or wings west because they look almost identical.

Re: Update on Body Repair!!!

Did you see those new side-skirt winglets on AMZ? Nice! And I wonder if that rear diffusser fits 2+2'?

Winglets

Rear Diffusser

Ab-Flug BTW is an old-school JDM body-kit maker... very popular among the race and drift scene in Japan... I like those itms alot and may get them. I'm also thinking of getting the ESCORT Racing's Hood and front Fascia... pretty cool!

Escort Hood

Escort Fascia

...someday...

i also hate you. having somebody else pay for a jdm front fascia. that spoiler is okay, i personally would get the jdm spoiler. now maybe if i accidentaly crash my z, WAIT, what the hell am i thinking, i don't want to hurt my baby even if it is for the best.

Re: Update on Body Repair!!!

I hate you as well... That makes three people, it must be true.

I would go with the '99 Fascia, '99 Taillights, STILLEN Type II Wing, Wings West Sideskirts, and STILLEN Rear Valence.

That would be a sleek looking car.

Did I mention I hate you?

i would love to have the JDM spoiler but i cant afford it at all. they arent giving me tons of money. just like $1000. $500 for my deductible and $500 for aftermarket stuff but $350 of the fasica is paid for beings that the stock bumper would cost 350. so i have to come up with 200 for the fascia and the cost of the spoiler but all the paint will be free.

Go with a 99 Fairlady front bumper and wing. I don't like the 90-93 wings, they look like a complete afterthought and don't really flow with the car. The 94-96s are better, still not quite perfect. 99 Fairlady was the total package styling wise.

Re: Update on Body Repair!!!

make that 4....
that's where i'ma have to disagree with you broke, i think the 90-93 is the best looking one out there, the 99 coming in a close second.. as for body... nothing looks better than stock imo

I probably don't like the stock 90-93 from all the stupid "wangan" ripoff spoilers you have to look at if you are on the 240SX forum. That and the earlier model really has about 0 effective downforce as its barely a lip around the back of the hatch. 94-96 is a little better. I mostly like the later model because it continues more of a line off the roof straight back rather than down the hatch with a lip on the back. Check some side shots of each to see what I mean.

On a side note, something blantantly offensive and ubelieviably hiliarious:

i like the 90-93 TT spoiler but i also like the 94-96 and i really wish i could afford the $800.00 99' spoiler. i think they all flow well with the car but i like the 90-93 best, i just wish it came out a little farther instead of being a little lip like broke said.
