power window problem
After I bought this car at about 30k miles the windows started slowing down now the drivers side will go down only about an inch and the passenger side window goes down but very slowly. Im thinkin its the belt/chain (whichever) but any ideas?????

Can it go down farther if you let the motor rest a bit? I know that those window motors have mechanisms in them that open the circuit if they get too hot.
If that's the case, try checking to make sure that all of the wires are in good shape. Might need a new motor.

Power Window Problems
My '94 Trans Am had the same problems. Those cars are notorious for it. If the window will go down a little then stop after waiting a while, the window regulator (motor) is near dead on your drivers side and going on the passengers. Both of my windows went dead and I only have 44k miles on my car. Buy one on-line or from a dealer. Costs about $150 per window. Installation is pretty simlpe from there.

$150.00!! No way, go to pep boys or auto zone and pick em up anywhere around 40.00-60.00 each...installation should take about an hour for your first time...
