Truck jerks and feels like its going to die

Hi I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee and lately when I get on the freeway and try to accelerate my jeep jerks and sputters and feels like its going to kill. WHat could be the problem???

Things to check would be fuel pressure under load and the throttle position sensor.

could also be an injector or fuel filter.
