HELP - Where can I order parts for my Trans Sport 2.3 ?

Hi

I'm the happy owner of an Pontiac Trans Sport 2.3 from 1993 and I live in Portugal.

Since there is no direct representative of Pontiac in Portugal, all the assistance is given by Opel.

The great problem/nightmare I have is that, whenever I want to make a technical revision of my Pontiac, they (in Opel) take several weeks, and the excuse they give to me is that they must import the parts, and that takes too long.

So I'm thinking in buying myself some common parts (air filter, oil filter, etc), but I don't know where I can order them online.

I've seen some sites in the USA, but I don't find my model (Trans Sport 2.3) in their listings for 1993 (maybe because my model was only sold in Europe?), and I'm not sure if the parts of the models listed are compatible with my vehicle.

So can you please help me and direct me to any site (it can be anywhere: Europe,USA,etc) where I can find and order the parts I need for the model I own?

Indeed the 2.3 was not sold here. We had the 3.1 (Ahhrg..$&*) and the 3.8 (this is the beef). SO in as much as engine parts are concerned, you will have to rely on OPEL line of supply, which is closer to you.

Yes, the were specially versions of TS sold in Europe. Some of them with the 2.3 engine and manual transmision. The 94´face lift of the TS was never sold in Europe, the old body was sold all to 96´.

Most of the european TS was sold in Germany. Try with the german website www.pontiac-transsport.de, there are links to german webshops for parts. I will be easier and cheaper for you to order from Germany than from US.

I work for a Delco distributor, and the fuel and oil filters list the same part numbers for the v-6 and 4 cylinder.
fuel filter = GF624k(with bracket) $14.23
GF580(without bracket) $10.79
oil filter = PF47 $3.49
The only one that's different is the air filter
air filter = a1164c $9.27
spark plugs = 41-602 $1.69 each

I'm not sure what it would cost to ship them to you, but I work at a Delco distributor in Flint, MI and I'm sure I could figure it out.
