Trunk latch broken...
I think when I was moving something in my trunk, the small cord near the trunk latch got tugged on, and now my trunk won't open. It won't open with the key or the opedner next to the seat. I can't see anything visibly loose.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to look for? Can someone give me a brief tutorial on how the latch works? This is a 99 cavalier 4 dr sedan. |

Re: Trunk latch broken...
On my 96 the trunk will only open if I turn the little screw connected to the cable on the latch, to one exact position, if not we have to pull out the back seat to pop the trunk. Sucks.
