car wont start, help asap

went out to the car the other day and it wouldnt start. it turns over, it just doesnt start. anyone who has any ideas PLEASE let me know right away. thanks. ryan

There could be two things, either Gas is not reaching or no spark. Check to see if the Gas pump works by turning the ignition to 1 position where the lights come on and don't crank the car, and listen for a buzzing noise from the back of the car, around the back seat. That will insure that you fuel pump is working.

the second if the above seems to work, check for spark.

Also when was the last time the fuel filter was changed, that could get clogged up and won't allow the fuel to reach the cylinders.
