Arrow My Second Race In The Z

I raced a 03 mustang gt saturday night, it had 4.10 gears, exhaust, k&n air induction, and he was running slicks, with aluminum wheels, not to mention 5 spd. thats all to my knowledge, but when we raced he shot on me out of the whole buy about a car, which i was expecting, so but to about the 1/4 mark, he had by about 1 car, i thought i did pretty good to be my second race, and for me to be racing someone with the combination of 5spd, slicks, and 4.10 gears. But do yaw think i did good, or could have did better, or was that what u would expect, how do yaw think i would do against a stock gt????

Re: My Second Race In The Z

About 2,500 if you do all the work yourself or you can order the stage 3 CNC LT4 Heads kit for about 3,000...

i got mine used for $1,700 id say its been done for 2 months now. i did change the rings, and i put in a hot cam. the SC i got from pro charger,
its an 8 psi. plus i had to drop the tranny and take it and have a B&M shift kit put in and a trans cooler. i busted an ear off the drive shaft the first week i had it done. and also the rear end needs to be upgraded, i took the car to bristol dragway and when i took off i some how damaged the rear end. now it whines at high speed. i took it to a garage and had the rear end checked and there was metal shavings in the fluid. they flushed it out. its not whining as bad and i have run the hell out of it but its a holding up.
