Question 1993 abs light

I have two problems with my 1993 E150. (straight six engine, 134,000 miles):

-ABS light flashes four times then stops and flashes four times again, etc.

-Fan blower speed switch is inoperative. Is this the fan or the control unit.

Thanks for any help

Re: 1993 abs light

Your van has REAR wheel ABS, the flashing light means there is a code, but I don't *think* the four flashes has anything to do with what code is set.

As for the fan, it is usually the motor if NO speeds work, but the switches will cause this too if the wire connectors get too hot. Check for power at the motor first, if there is power (and the ground is good) then the motor is surely bad.
