Hey. Alright here's the story. This guy took my Automatic Transmission 1999 Firebird and went 30 MPH in reverse, and dropped it into drive.
Now...It only goes about 35 MPH and then stops accelerating. So u have to let off the gas for a few seconds and kinda push it till it will get over that 35MPH hill, where it runs completely normal. I thought that maybe the TV Cable is out of adjustment, if there is one. Or the Torque Converter is messed up. I'm not sure though, so any help or suggestions to the diagnosis of this would be much appreciated. Thanks,

Is there a company that makes aftermarket torque converters? or do i just get a stock one...where do i got one of those? AND>>.....transmissions arent my specialty, engine yes..tranny no
