Camaro Vs Ferrari

Well i raced a ferrari i don't even know what kind it was, well do i need to say more he whooped me pretty good, i just wanted to know if my camaro had the same torque and hp would his car still win because of the weight, and how much weight can we remove from the camaro without disturbing performance?

the Ferrari would probably still beat you because of the design of the car. it is completely designed to go fast and thats it. your Camaro on the other hand is designed to go fast, yes, but in a driveable manner. more tame, so to speak. the aerodynamics, chassis design, and drivetrain of the Ferrari are all optimized perfectly for speed.

well that depends on what the car is used for.. If it is a daily driver or not.. You could rip out all of the interior, carpets, passenger and rear seats, panels.. Move your battery to the hatch passenger side, take out your A/C and compressor, heater with all pipes and hoses.. Get a fiberglass hood... dont sit in it.. etc, etc

i dunno man just because its a ferrari doesn;t mean it will beat everything what if its the cheapest one just get a supercharger or a blower and u can keep up well shit a blower u could take it down but s/c u can keep up

good story, me and my good friend 97SlvrZee, both in our cars pull up to another LS1 Camaro on a four lane road and started to play a little when a Enzo pulled you next to all of us... Boy we all took off a few times and every time the Enzo lost... Mind you this was at about 80MPH and I dont think the Driver of the Enzo knew what he was doing... I kept hearing the thing rev like the engine was going to blow out of it or something... Hey JD chim in and tell the story the way you remembe it...

Yeah Todd is right... the guy in the Enzo didn't know how to drive...keep in mind that the enzo is the fastest ferrari on the market and runs deep 11's in the quarter. Tha t being said, I saw a bone stock Z06 run 11.97 on street rubber. We, in short, acosted, no, let me change that...we gang raped that wop gunea euro piece of shit. At the time my car was the slower and by the time we reached warp speed...around 150 or so... I had 3 lengths on this guy. lol. I think he was a little pissed that 3, 20 thousand dollar cars beat his brand new(still had dealer tags) 700,000 dollar car. It was the most hillarious thing I'd seen in a while, until we saw the cop. Besides the point, I had been oohhhing and ahhing over that very same car at a car show not 2 weeks before lol !!!!

Common misconception If the race had went over 165 we would not have won. If the race was not on a strait road we would not have won. did you know that the fastest production Lambo only runs 13's in the quarter?

i am supprised you ran into an Enzo... thats like the fastest production car ever made, and there were not that many made. they were all special ordered and sold before they were even desined

i actually believe that the mclaren f1 is the fastest car ever made - am i wrong? personally, mclaren f1 looks a hell of a lot better than the enzo, too

The Enzo is not the fastest car evermade, and to my knowlege there are 11 in Houston. This is per an Exotic import dealer in H-town. And it was an Enzo simply for the fact that you cannot mistake that car for any other Ferrari. That would be like mistaking a fierro for a bently

Maybe people here ordered all 50? I never said that there was no doubt about it, hell I'll never own one, especially not now, I really don't know for a fact. That is why I worded my post the way I did. THere is one thing I do know to be true, they aren't about all the shit they are made out to be.

First off, the Enzo Is rated at 600 and something horsepower. I read the mods on the slverbullet and the other camaro and I am guessing those guys have about 500hp each, Seeing as a Ferrari makes most of its power in the later rpms, I can believe that they beat one by a few car lengts. Also you say that the Ferrari would have beat you in the corners, I don't know about that, Both of those Camaro's have polyurethane bushing as one of the mods done, add in bigger sway bars and talk about taking some corners. You two have some awsome rides, and built them about how I would build one. Your Camaro's probabbly rule the streets until a big block chevy comes around, even then the big block probabbly needs a blower to whip your cars.......To the ORIGINAL THREAD STARTER. Don't you know when someone beats you then you go and mod you car, if you have a 3rd Gen, I can give you some killer tips that will help you to waste almost any car on the road.
