Tire jack placement

Okay, I lost my owners manual. Where exactly do you place the tire jack to change a rear tire on a 94 Taurus?

It should be obvious, but it isn't to me.

get on the ground and look at the side rails on the car, theres usually a cut out about 3 inches long about 6 inches from wheel well, thats were the jack fits into. and please, please please, block the wheels so its doesnt come off the jack. scary as hell when it does, luckily the wheels were still on the car..=D
