Drivers side rearview for a 97?

Subject pretty much sums it up. Mine got broken off by a friend when we had to engage in some manual relocation of the car. So um yea, anyone know where I can pick up a decently priced replacement. One more time...... Drivers side, rearview mirror, for a 1997 Geo Metro? Please?

Re: Drivers side rearview for a 97?

Try junkyards... That being said, I had the hardest time to find a LH mirror for my '96 Geo, after a jackass hit my car while parked on the street. Called every junkyard in my area, and couldn't find a single one. Ended up biting the bullet and getting a new one from the dealer, for the ridiculous price of 150 bux...

Just not to be totally unhelpful, if your mirror is still in one piece and the only thing that broke were the whatchamacallits w/ holes where the screws are attached, then you may be able to reattach your mirror by using longer screws. That worked for me, when I accidently broke my RH mirror.

Phoenix:
Take a look into this. I replaced both mirrors already from ebay for a total $50 S&H included.

Hope this helps you out,

MC.

Re: Drivers side rearview for a 97?

I looked on ebay as well. But I didn't see anything for a 97. I think the ones they have listed there ran up to the 94 model year. And it seemed like those looked a little different than mine.....what do you think? Should I go ahead and get one of those? I'd certainly like to, it's been a while since I've bought any eBay swag.

Thanks MC

Re: Drivers side rearview for a 97?

Phoenix.. you know.. I replaced both of mine already. A hint in here, try to match your car's brand with the replacement. I found out that suzuki's body mirror is bigger than geo metro's one. I know this because I got one from a Geo an another one from a Swift But don't worry, not too many people would tell the difference, just picky people as me .

To be sure it will fit, chose one from 1996 and above. I buy things through ebay normally.

I redefined the search also supposly to fit your year model:

Also, check the already closed auctions to have an idea how much could the mirror costs you:

Hope this helps you Phoenix.

car-parts.com has dozens of mirrors, and some good prices.

Well, first of all, go up to your friend, grab his ears, and start pulling him around the room, and then ask if he liked being manually relocated by his ear . Then, wait a while, and i'll check my local parts yard for one.
