I recently just bough a 2000 LS V8 and it is having some starting problems. When you go to start it all it will do is crank, it takes up to 6 times before it will start. Does anyone know what it could be. I had the fuel pump replaced but that did not fix it. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Re: HELP Starting Problems
I believe there was TSB for this issue. The fix involved a Reflash of the PCM. IIRC, the problem occured occasionally when the engine shut down with the exhaust valves open on cylinder #1. With both valves open, the engine can't get compression when cranking and won't start. Something like that, anyway... Your dealership should do a search of the TSB listings.
