Molding on side of 89 - How attached and How remove?
In looking at the molding on my 89 it looks like it is glued on. Somewhere I have read that a heat gun is used to remove this. Anyone with experience on this?

that stuff is on with a very nasty double sided tape!!!
The mouldings will pull off with enough force but the tape will be a nightmare!!!! a heat gun will help a lot but an adhesive remover and a bondo spreader will be easier. Are you planing on repainting the truck?? because if you are just run a razor scrapper down it. it will save you a lot of work in the long run!! i hope this helps Gary Quote:
