Cheaper Parts?

Basically, What I want to know is if I try to make all the stuff myself It probly wont turn out as good as if I bought it from sumone else, Does anybody know a place that has cheap parts? or should i try to make the parts myself? Are there any Tutorials on Sound Systems?

... My point is basically, I dont want to buy from tuning18.com , is their any other places ith cheaper parts? or will I end up having to make all my parts, there for, most likely makeing it look likee crap because I decide to go with LOW BUDGET Parts...

try searching this forum, there used to be a sticky at the top that had tons of diecast realated links.
I don't think mike deleted the thread when he became moderator.

A majority of the modeling population builds the stuff themselves.

But sometimes, you get what you pay for.
