Does it matter?

I bought a 1996 nissan 240sx with S15 headlights installed on it. Do these headlights effect any of the S14 body kits such as the S14 DRFT body kit? Everything should still fit right, or not? I ask this because I saw that someone said that there is some body work that needs to be done to get the S15 headlights on, and I did not know if that would effect anything as far as putting a S14 front bumper on.

Re: Does it matter?

Yes it would. Once you have the S15 Front end, you will no longer be able to bolt on any S14 kits.

You can however use any aftermarket kit for the S15, with little or lots of modification.

Re: Does it matter?

when the s15 bumper is swapped on it uses the stock front bumper. The rest of the body will still be s14, you will have to work with the retailer on giving you a deal without the front bumper. Then just buy the front bumper separate for the s15

Ok, just to be sure were on the same page. You are saying I have the S15 front bumper (stock) since I have the S15 headlights, correct? In that case, if I was to get an aftermarket front bumper for my car it would have to be an aftermarket front bumper for an S15, not an S14. But obviously the rest of my car is still the stock body of an S14 which I can still purchase S14 body parts for. But would S14 body parts looks good with the S15 front bumper or would it look unbalanced. One more question. What kind of work would be necessary to fit an aftermarket S15 rear bumper and S15 sideskirts on the S14 body (1996), little or lots, costs? Thanks.

Re: Does it matter?

It would really depend on the S15 bumper you are getting, some have diff ground clearance than others. Theres no need to get S15 skirts cause theres been no body modification on the rest of your body but the nose. So just get S14 skirts and hope it matches the S15 front.

Or just get rid of the whole S15 front completely and get the Kouki S14a instead.

Those look damn sexy.
