95 Corolla A/C Problem
When I turn on my A/C my car starts to shake and feels like it wants to die only when I am at a stop. When the car is moving everything seems to be fine. I was thinking that it might be the alternator not putting out enough power. Is there anyway to check an alternator if it is even that? What do you guys think?

A/c problem
Sounds like your A/C idle up might be faulty. The idle up increases the engine rpm 200-300 rpm to compensate for the extra load from the compressor. Pick up a haynes manual and it will show you where it is located (and how to change it)
