loud rotational noise coming from front-end
My GS400 has developed a loud noise coming from the front-end. It seems associated with the drivetrain, as it doesn't occur at idle/rest. It seems to be coming equally from both sides, so I haven't isolated it yet.
Could it be a bearing problem? I haven't had a chance to look under the car yet, but I plan to reomve the wheels this weekend. Anything specific I should look for or try? Thanks for your help, Pat |

Ours has what sounds to be a similar problem coming from the front right. Have had alignment done, a few times, had the tires balanced/rotated and one of the tire guys told me one wheel couldn't be balanced, possible warped rim. I had them road force ballanced, and this guy didn't warn me of this condition. Still, the sound remains. It gets faster as you go faster until it becomes a single long hum and as you slow it gets slower. Is this the same as yours? I have heard that it may be the tires, but haven't tried replacing them yet because still have tread left!
