Shifter for '94 automatic
The button that you push in with your thumb on the shifter that allows you to shift gears just popped out and hit me in the leg while I was driving down the road. I can still use it but I have to put the button back in every time I want to put the car in park or reverse. I checked at my local ford garage and they said I had to buy the whole thing at a cost of 105.00 dollars. Is there a cheaper way to fix this or a good after market shifter that would be cheaper. This is a '94 t-bird with a 4.6 thanks for any help.

Re: Shifter for '94 automatic
Aftermarket shifter = Local parts store.
The Hood = Legendary hoods. Thanks for the complement!
