Polar axis shift

i'd like to talk about this. I've been doing some research on the net and i plan to hit the library this week.

anyone know of any good info regarding this? I'm looking for some hard core facts. lol

here is a website that i found that gives some good info. i'm unsure of whats fictional of factual.
http://www.sangraal.com/steve.htm

below is something i copied and pasted for those who know nothing about the polar axis shift. read on...

A polar axis shift creates major earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and incredibly violent winds (1-2 thousand mph) due to temporary atmospheric displacement. Historically these shifts have resulted in large scale destruction and loss of life including the extinction of many species.

Operation Noah's Ark is the modern top secret version of preparing underground facilities to enable key personnel chosen by the secret government and military to survive climatic catastrophe and/or nuclear attack. If you take a map of the military base closings and overlay it on a map of predicted earth changes (Cayce, Scallion, etc.) they almost match perfectly. The idea is to move essential industrial military and government facilities to safer ground, thereby collecting the essence of our modern civilization for retaining and rebuilding life on the planet after the coming devastation. The general public will not be told of this directly. Indirectly, information is being released to prepare the public about surviving the coming earth changes and solar flares. Movies are now being released depicting how to survive natural disasters including volcanoes and asteroid impacts. Consider the inundation in 1997 and 1998 about asteroid impacts in the popular scientific magazines and media. The recent book, Solar Flare by Larry Burkett, depicts in great detail the devastating effects of a major solar flare and surviving its after effects.

all opinions and comments welcomed but i'm looking for a serious disscusion. work is slow today so i'll be online and here all day. :-)

now lets talk......

Re: Polar axis shift

I glanced through it. (due to time restraints) I have seen other articles predicting polar shifts and the like. I'm sure there is some scientific fact behind it. Predicting the end is risky buisness at best. All other predictions about the time of the end (or a dramatic change in the earth) have come and gone without anything happening. This could be the case with this prediction also. The poles may indeed shift someday soon but I don't think anyone can really predict when that will be.

I have come to the point where I try and ignore these kind of predictions. It just leads me to worry about something I can't control. I do think they are interesting though.

Unless this is a project for school, i wouldn't worry about it. That happening in our lifetime, well, sorry it just isn't gonna happen.

Have a nice day!

It's an interesting topic, but how many people that visit this forum are going to be well versed enough to sustain a thread like this? I'll wager that no one who frequents this forum possesses that type of knowledge on this subject.

These movies are usually released around or shortly after one of these types of phenomena occur. Shoemaker-Levy9 bombarded Jupiter in 1994, and a few years later, we have a small rush of asteroid movies. Not to mention there were mentions of a possible doomsday-asteroid being on it's way to a collision with Earth. This later proved bogus, but it gets the publics interest piqued and their imaginations working.
If the military wants to open and close bases based on what may happen astronimically, be my guest. Whatever happens, none of us are going to be able to control it, so i say whatever happens, happens. After that, whomever is left will have to deal with it.
