Knife: $10. Tire: $75.....

LOOK ON MY FACE WHEN I FIND MY TIRE SLASHED: PRICELESS

If I Ever Catch The Asshole, I'm Going To Fuck Him Up On Site!

*ed
ok here's what happened, now I've calmed down a little.

I deliver pizza's, and I was the ONLY driver on tonight, and it was HECTIC! It was worse than any saturday I've done. I had a 3.5 hour shift tonight, I was expecting maybe 5 deliverys, and wash up a lot, but no!

I started at 5pm
then, at 6pm, work picked up, and I was in-and-out of the shop getting pizza's, it was quick. Then at 7pm, it's dark, it's raining (which SUCKS), and work is so fast, at the point I'm taking 3 pizza's at once. On the 2nd round of taking 3 pizza's, I went to my first one, which was a unit, I had trouble finding it at first, took over 5 minutes, but I did it. Then I went to find the 2nd one, which was a unit out the back, but I couldn't get there from where I was, I had to drive around to the highway. I park on the highway, and I look for it, because work is really, really busy, I'm an hour late, which is wayyyy beyond my fault, so I get there, and I ring...Ring...Ring.....No one there... So I rang the room below, number 18 (he was 19), she didn't speek english, so I rang number 20, explained the problem, they said they'll have a look, then I rang again, after 15 minutes, then they said "hello? if this is dominos, we don't want it anymore". Fine. Fuck you too, buddy.

Got back in my car, and I drive off to my bext delivery, I'm not too worryed about this guy, because that means I might get the pizza at the end of the night (both of them! And I did!). On the way there, I found it hard to control the car, as it was raining heavyly, I blamed me sliding on the road on the wet. Coming back from the last of the 3 in a row, I was going around a round-a-bout, and I lost control of my car, as my rear slid out to the left, and I slid out of control, and hit the gutter. I wasn't going too fast, about 20km/h, maybe slower, I got back to the shop, I parked out front, checked my tire, and It's flat.

I went in , and explained to the manager my problem, I rang mum, and she brought mu brother to change the tire, and I borrowed mum's car to finish my job. Because of this problem, I was over 40 minutes late for the other deliverys.
When I finished, the cops were out the front, they drove past, saw my brother changing a tire, and stoped.
So I get chatting to them at the end of my shift, and they inspected it, and it has a 4cm slash to it. Someone knifed my fucking tire!
I was also driving illegally, they had a little "talk" about that, but let me off without a warning cause I had a job to do.

So yeah...Next time your pizza's late, don't blame the driver.

I'm sorry to hear about the tire, and don't worry, i never blame the driver, i blame the dispatcher! Drivers are only human after all, and i always tip well.

Have a better day today!

I didn't have my P plates on mums car when I was driving it. Theoretically illegal but I'm not too worried about it.

Re: Knife: $10. Tire: $75.....

haha, yeah, I wish.
I've filed a police report already, did it over the phone

My mate raised this point:
Why did they only slash one, when they could of known you had a spare?

...Which is a good point!

Punk kids with nothing better to do.

"Slash one and run before someone catches us!"

Little jerks... when i was a kid, if i did something like that, my Mom would kick my ass, my Dad would kick my ass, then i'd get the wooden spoon from Mom, the blet from my Dad, and i would be grounded until i turned 18.

Forget talking to your children, i was spanked as a child and i'm not a serial killer!

Anyways, sorry about the rant, i just REALLY DON'T LIKE VANDALS.

aw come on, 4 pizza's in one rush for me is on a moderate night like a tuesday or wednesday.

but I do agree, units and apartments are horrible for deliver drivers. If you live in one, do us a favor and give directions to your particular unit, townhome, apartment, whatever.

Re: Knife: $10. Tire: $75.....

yeah! Especially when there are 6 OTHER UNITS AND NO ADDRESS

I had one delivery, I was sent to "carmel st", on the map in the store, carmet st didn't exist, so I didn't go.
Then we got a phone call over an hour later, turns out, it was "mt carmel", so I went there, and I was sent to 18. No one home, so I rang the shop, turns out someone wrote the "mt" over the '6' (16, not 18) on the docket, so I went to 16, WRONG HOUSE
Then I gave up after 20 minutes, and as I was getting in my car, someone called out from 14! She was blaiming ME for the problems, she was cursing, using words I dare not repeate, she nearly got me to call my manager, but I left quickly

Re: Knife: $10. Tire: $75.....

I always wondered, how much do you tip the delivery dude? I usually tip $2. What is the usual amount ppl tip? And I would hate to be a delivery man, put miles on my car, that's a big bill itself to be beatin up
