d16z6 into b18c5

Ok cool I assume by reading the topic you know what I want to do. Now I am going to keep it real. I have read most of the forums and I haven't seen anything saying that I can swap my d16z6 into my b18c5. Please don't respond to this forum if you don't know what the hell you are talking about. From what I know the swap would be easy, everything just plugs up. Would this be the truth? I also want to know what I should do to this motor before mounting it into my car, because I want it to be the fastest naturally asperated c5 around. I have the money but I don't want to spend a cagillion dollars doing it. I already spent 3k for the motor. It's a JDM but it's not the best, I mean the motor is good just I want to replace the piston rings and stuff and I wanted to know if this motor is worth putting it in? I heard this motor is bad if I got a turbo because of the high compression, if anyone has a better idea of a DOHC V-Tec motor please let me know... Peace out

if you got it for 3k i doubt its a c5 it could be gsr.....

Why waste money on a 5k engine when you can get a GSR motor to go faster for less than the type r motor.....

Re: d16z6 into b18c5

Do you have the whole swap (tranny, ecu, mounts, shiftlinkage, etc) or just the motor? I think it's definently worth putting into your car.
I'd recommend upgrading the cams with some aftermarket ones and upgrade the valvetrain.
Well if you're going NA then stick with the ITR engine, if you're considering turbo go with the LS or GSR.

Re: d16z6 into b18c5

ITR is short for Integra Type R. And by valve train I mean valves, valve springs, and retainers.
