Why i hate my Local mitsubishi dealer...
The other day i went to the same mitsubishi dealer that replaced my airbags after my accident. My sunroof got knocked off the left rail or something and it stuck up a little, i am afraid that when the rain comes i am gonna be screwed, so i give them a call. Turns out they want $99 dollars for me to drive to the dealership and look at it... $99 dollars for something that they will know the problem in like 2 mins. god damnit.

search vfaq there was a article about how to fix rattling sunroofs. you can probably figure out how to put yours back together from the diagrams

does the haynes book have something on that? not sure i think it tells you how to take it off. mite wanna take it off then put it back together.

Ok, here's my story:
I replaced my sterio system in my gs-t, so i decided to put the stock system in my gs. I put it in and it works fine, but when i try to start it, it asks for a code. So i call my local dealer and ask them for this code. The dumbass told me i had to bring my car in, then he would reprogram the stereo to a new code, and he would charge me $55 for it. WTF?? Are all dealers like this or is mine just being an ass? If this is the case i guess i got to buy a new headunit from bestbuy or somewhere.

RealMAd....No way man same shit happend to me...tell them if they dont do it for you for free, you will call Corporate....but that is only if you bought it from them...otherwise pay the price or find some other cheap way of doing it

the dealership WILL charge you for the code unless you've purchased the car from that particular dealership... theie rates vary too...I have been given as ridiculous as a $100 quote on code retrieval... but paid $20 for the last one (own 4 mitsubishis).

NO NO NO!! The dealer does not charge you to get the radio code. I got it for free and I did not buy my car from that dealer. It took me a couple tries to find a dealer that would but they should give it to you no matter what. Some dealers are just asses
