Need advice on buying a fiero
I need a fiero definitly cheap and with the body style like this
![]() it needs to cost about 500$ and it doesnt need an engine or anything really working, just a rust free body. Any places to start? I want a nice projekt car that I can afford on a highschool budget. Thanks

Re: Need advice on buying a fiero
A GT for $500? Ebay Motors is probably the place to go for just the deal you need. The one in the pic looks like it might be an 88 though, and 88's are hard to come by, and used 88 suspension parts are more expensive then 84-87. You may want to go with an 86 or 87 GT instead to stay inside your budget.
For a true rust free unibody, look for cars in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and other southwestern states.

Rusty unibodies need not apply. 74-79 Ramcharger or 100, slant or no motor - not interested in v8 - Overdrive 4 is a big plus, NO hopeless rust buckets!!! 3Rd gen F body floor pans/camaro door skin (L) Why is it I see so many "Proud to be an American" bumper stickers on the backs of cars made in Japan or Korea??????

Re: Need advice on buying a fiero
Bends? The Fiero , regardless of year, has a good strong suspension. The only difference with the 88 is it's more performance tuned - still, there's enough aftermarket stuff out there to make the 86 and 87 GT handle just as good. 88 GT's, while being some of the best stock Fieros, are limited in number, inb high demand for being the best and last of the Fieros, and end up costing twice as much. If you really, really REALLY love t-tops, though, you have to buy an 88, it's the only year they were available.
