just lojack is not enough. lojack is a tracking device used to find your car after you have noticed it has been stolen, however, if you are sleeping and wake up to find your car is not there and by the time the cops finish their donuts and find it, it will be all gutted out on tha side of tha road. get a good alarm that is loud and can adjust tha sensitivity. i got tha viper dei pager. it is cool you can see whats going on with your car and the length of the paging signal is pretty good. plus lojack is like $700, it saves you money on car insurance, but its just not enough.

Re: Car Alarm questions

I 2nd anything from DEI. Just make sure not just to get a basic install. You will want to add better sensors to help make it a little more bullet proof. There are new units out that have 2-way remotes with LED lights instead of the fragile LCD screen too. Nice thing is they are much less expensive than the 790 line. www.directed.com
