which head unit?
i am in the market for a head unit, and want to spend under 170. my budget was around 160, but 170 would be the absolute most i would spend.
the requirements: front and sub preout i would relaly like an eq 3 band or more, becuase i don't have an external one and from there thats pretty much it as far as requirements because i need to run a component amp and a sub amp, and i really would like to be able to tune my system somewhat the ones i've been lookin at are the pioneer deh-6500, jvc aresenal 8000, and a panasonic(don't remember model) i was considering an alpine 9835 but it doesn't have an eq, and as of now the pioneer is in the lead...........what do ya'll think?

Re: which head unit?
alpine 9835? That will cost over $400 and it has a very very powerful eq, are you sure you weren't thinking of a different one?
