1988 mustang

well. i'm bored with all my other kits and had a little spare cash so i picked up the 1988 Ford Mustang kit.....only problem is that it is done by AMT. anyone done this kit yet? any heads up? im going to build it to replicate a friends GT here is a link to his page http://hometown.aol.com/neal393w/myh...e/profile.html
I will be taking on a lot of scratchbuilding that i havn't done before. this should be interesting. i'll get some pics up sometime tomorrow. i am not at home at the moment

i think camaroSSboy just completed one not too long ago. i'd like to build one, but does anyone else other than AMT make one?

actually, don't bash AMT about that kit, its not an AMT kit, its an MPC kit from the late 80's before AMT bought them out, actually, be happy that AMT did'nt do it becouse MPC in the late 80's did a far better job on current production cars the AMT

Re: 1988 mustang

Yea, i've built this kit. Truthfully, its right on par with the Revell MUstang Convertable kit (which isnt saying much.)

Problems were typical AMT problems. Also, its a little under detailed, and it actually seems quite small compared to my other kits

If your're interested..heres some links

This is what it will build up like Stock:

Re: 1988 mustang

Must be a lift off hood, unless its forward tilting. The car is looking nice. Can't wait to see it with some paint!
