Smile turbocharging kosts

Hey everyone,

I was thinking to turbocharg my 97 civic sohc non-vtec. The question is what costs should I expect. My friend says that for homemade turbo I should expect at lest 3000 $ on stock engine.
What did you guys pay for you turbo system?

Any suggestion?

Thanks,

honestly, you could piece a kit together (and have it work) for less than a grand. if you know what you are doing and where to look, that is.

www.turbod16.com
www.homemadeturbo.com

go to those sites, register, and read/ask a lot of questions

If you are interested I got a complete turbo kit. includes everything gauge pod, gauges, msd ignition, manifold, fmu, ingectors, te turbo, etc.... only thing you will need is an intercooler. I was going to put it on my 96 civic but I havent had time too and I dont have the money to finish the project I will sell it to you for what I got invested in it and it's only $1,300 let me know if you are interested....
