Lost power while driving

I have the car at Buick shop for them to look at in Morning, but anyone have any idea what's going on here? '99 Park Avenue standard 3.8L, was driving, went to pass a car and nothing happened, engine reved up at first, then when stepped on gas, bogged down, bucked, lost speed, I backed off, was able to cruise at 60, but if stopped took 5 mins to get up to speed, there seemed to be a noise up front, hard to say what was, after 20 mins check engine light came on, took forever to get up a hill coming home. It has 109,000, at 104,000 I change tranny fluid and pan gasket, they said never saw a pan that clean, changed plugs, flushed radiator, cleaned injectors, oil changed twice since 104,000 has ran flawless, I had a K&N filter in it for last 10,000 miles, took it out wondering if sucking too much air, but no change, gas cap is on good and tight. Couple things I noticed around all the problems coming to the house when this happened was got a little hot, around 200 to 205, and at one point Oil Press. usually stays at around low to mid 60's, and low to mid 50's when idle, but at one point was 34 to 38 at idle...what do ya think?

Thanks Jerry

I would check the codes, the oil pressure is probably lower cause the motor got hot. but as for the trans, I think you have tranny issues now, I have seen alot that if you not in the habit of opening it up now and again, with high mileage, when you do the tranny granades. I think you have tranny issues at this point...

It may be, but the sorta sputtering and bogged down sounds....It sounded almost like starving for gas/air or lose of spark!, thanks though, we'll know tomorrow.
