stock sol performance

hi guys, does any got a stock B16a2 sol? or anyone got a super sol but still remember how a stock B16a2 sol run? could anyone tell me how does it run and especially how does it feel when the VTEC kick off??

The reason why I'm asking is that my frd got a EG with b16a and he said he can feel the VTEC in the EG a lot more than in the sol (both stock) when he was driving my sol. Or if there is any way to check if my sol got some problems that make it runs slower?
