Which side is the S10 lean on?

I have a 98 ZR2 and she is now leaning on the driver side rear.I read on here somewhere that a company made a piece to correct this.It was cheaper than a new spring. My springs aren't broke either.

How much of a lean?

Check your torsion mounts.
Check your swaybar bushings and end links.
Check for weak springs.

Not much of a lean.I've noticed other S10s that do the same thing.

Re: Which side is the S10 lean on?

It's called the chevy lean and it happens to most.

Check your sway bars links and bushings for wear causing this.

It stopped my lean.

Re: Which side is the S10 lean on?

I checked and noticed that the mount on the driver side was totally messed up.The bolt that went through there came loose and has worn the hole bigger.I welded some washers on it and fixed that problem, but she still leans. The rubber bushings look to be fine though.

Replace the end links. Don't repair.

The holes are supposed to be a little bigger so the rubber bushings fit in there.

Replace them, they are really really cheap.

Re: Which side is the S10 lean on?

The rubber bushings weren't worn. The mount on the rear end itself was worn.

Re: Which side is the S10 lean on?

The driver side mount on the rear end was worn. It's where the sway bar hooks on to the rear end.I couldn't believe it myself.

Re: Which side is the S10 lean on?

Now go and fix it.

Very cheap and take maybe 20 minutes.

Re: Which side is the S10 lean on?

How about going to the parts store and getting the proper end link kit for it instead of ghetto rigging it up.

Re: Which side is the S10 lean on?

I don't think you understand. The mount is part of the rear end,not the damn sway bar.

Re: Which side is the S10 lean on?

Oh I see, the circle the link goes through.

Can you go to the junk yard and cut one out of another truck?
